A sonic weaving experience tackling epistemic injustice.
The Listening Loom, inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer, is a sonic weaving experience that uses embodied cognition to reweave people’s understanding of the global climate change dialogue.
Tackling epistemic injustice and celebrating the Indigenous heroes who maintain a reciprocal relationship with the Earth, this project invites you to enter a flow-state while weaving and to amplify the often dismissed but essential voices of environmental advocacy.

The purpose of the following video is to give you a brief summary of how the interaction works. It does not represent the entirety of the sonic weaving experience which requires dedicated time, patience, and concentration.
